It's back! The Kenyan Peaberry coffee has a uniqueness in that the beans from the cherry are completely oval in physical form rather than two halves. The bean will only develop and begin its growth inside the cherry when one of the beans becomes fertilised. Without a partnering bean to continue growing against, the fertilised bean develops into an oval shape and is harvested, ripened in this final shape.
Some farms call them a freak of nature but we love them, especially with their fruity and delicious sweetness

The Holiday Season
Hi everyone, we are planning a break over the Christmas period, meaning we won't be roasting between 21st Dec and 2nd January inclusive. Placing an order will still be possible as will automated subscriptions, but we do not plan on roasting or dispatching again until 2nd January. The last dispatch date for ordered coffee before this period will be Tuesday 23rd December.
Our apologies for this stopgap and as always thank for your patience and custom. We wish all of you, our valued customers, a very good and where possible restful Christmas.
