Thursday was a fantastic day down at the London Coffee Festival in Shoreditch. The event has really grown in content during the two year gap since we were last there. There are some truly wonderful looking pieces of brewing kit on their way to market, and the event now has a ‘roasting room’ dedicated to artisan roasters. The highlight for us was speaking to some of our green bean suppliers face to face about this year’s harvest and the increased quality scores they are showing. We were particularly excited to taste a stand out coffee from Yemen. We are hoping this could become our first supplier of Coffee from this area. As soon as we have roasted and sampled these, we will hopefully be making them available as a micro lot.

The Holiday Season
Hi everyone, we are planning a break over the Christmas period, meaning we won't be roasting between 21st Dec and 2nd January inclusive. Placing an order will still be possible as will automated subscriptions, but we do not plan on roasting or dispatching again until 2nd January. The last dispatch date for ordered coffee before this period will be Tuesday 23rd December.
Our apologies for this stopgap and as always thank for your patience and custom. We wish all of you, our valued customers, a very good and where possible restful Christmas.
